Camping Gear List
Camping gear list
The night before every camping trip, I always check a packing list to avoid forgetting anything and not enjoying the camping experience to the fullest! Some people prefer to camp light, while others with cars prefer heavy gear, and camping supplies also differ depending on the weather. Regardless, it's best to prepare appropriate equipment and supplies according to your needs for each camping trip by preparing different packing lists in advance. Here's one I'm sharing to help you out; being prepared is always a good thing.
The items marked with stars are mandatory; those not marked are up to your needs—whether you prefer a simple, lightweight outfit or a luxurious one...

tent supplies
tent
Camping requires a tent, and when choosing a tent, consider the number of people and the size of the campsite. A typical tent package includes an inner tent, outer tent, ribs, tent pegs, and rope. For a more comfortable sleeping experience, it's recommended to choose a tent one size larger than the number of people needed. For example, use a 3-person tent for 2 people, a 4-person tent for 3 people, and so on. This allows for some space inside the inner tent for storing belongings or setting up a small table for a relaxing evening drink. Having both inner and outer tents helps prevent moisture buildup in the campsite during morning dew, keeping the sleeping area dry and comfortable. When purchasing a tent, also consider factors such as the setup method (hooked/interlocked), single or double entrances, double doors (fabric mosquito net), whether a waterproof outer tent is included, whether the package includes tent pegs/rope, weight, and the size when packed away.
mat
A groundsheet is a waterproof fabric, which can also be used as a moisture-proof mat to block ground moisture. It also prevents abrasion on the tent floor, avoids stones or tree roots from piercing the tent in different campsite conditions, and reduces the chance of being poked by sand or stones when lying or sitting in the camp.
Sky Canopy
Planning out a private space outside the tent increases camping comfort, provides shade from the intense sun, and protects against rain. Tent poles are essential for setting up a tarp.
bedding
sleeping pad
Camping usually requires sleeping on hard ground or uneven ground, and you may not be lucky enough to find beautiful grassy areas, so using a sleeping mat is necessary to make camping sleep more comfortable, enjoy sleeping in nature, and insulate against the cold ground.
sleeping bag
Temperatures in the countryside drop sharply after nightfall, and the human body naturally cools down while sleeping. Bringing a sleeping bag can help keep you warm and prevent hypothermia.
When choosing a sleeping bag, pay attention to the "limit temperature" marked on it. It's advisable to prepare one suitable for winter camping and one suitable for summer camping.
Note that temperatures in the suburbs are lower than in the city, so you may need to choose a sleeping bag with a lower comfort level depending on the approximate temperature at the time.
Pillow
When sleeping while camping, having a pillow helps relax the neck muscles; otherwise, you'll feel like you've had a bad night's sleep the next morning, and your neck and back will be very tired.
Polyester fiber pillows feel very comfortable; however, inflatable pillows are lightweight and compact to store. They are lightweight and easy to pack.
Cooking food
Camping involves spending most of the time enjoying cooking. Normally, we're the couple who cook at home, but at the campsite, we suddenly become master chefs!
A durable cooking rack is essential. Having a full set of accessories, including pots, pans, stovetops, fuel, cutlery, utensils, ingredients, and seasonings, will make cooking much easier!
Cooking cookware
Cookware made of pure titanium, ultra-lightweight!
Pure titanium does not rust and inhibits mold growth, making cookware more durable and preserving the original flavor of food.
Stove
There are several types of stoves used for cooking while camping, namely alcohol stoves, gas stoves, white oil stoves, and wood stoves. Which stove to use depends on everyone's preference and whether the campsite environment is convenient for starting a fire.
Lightweight tableware
Lightweight tableware, portable and environmentally friendly!
Made of pure titanium, it is not only lighter, but also more resistant to high temperatures, less prone to rusting, and healthier to eat.
kettle
Bring a water bottle to hold drinking water so you can stay hydrated or to rinse your utensils.
When you go to sleep in the tent at night, you can keep it by your side. If you get thirsty in the middle of the night, you can drink water immediately, and you can also drink water when you get up in the morning.
Coffee and tea brewing tools
Enjoying tea, chatting, snacking, and reflecting on life with old friends while camping.
In the morning, I also need to make myself a cup of freshly ground coffee to savor the rich aroma of the coffee beans and wake myself up.
A group of close friends gathered together to eat healthily and enjoy nature.
Camping bench
Folding stool
Enjoy cooking for extended periods while camping, chat with close friends or your partner, and sit comfortably and easily.
Camping chairs come in different shapes and styles, heights, and whether they have a backrest or not. If you're traveling light, it doesn't matter if you have a low folding stool without a backrest. The most important thing is that it's small and lightweight.
If you have a car or a car parked inside, you can go camping with a full load of gear. If you want to be even more comfortable, you might as well use a camping chair with a backrest, or even one that you can use as a pillow, so comfortable that you can sleep while sitting.
folding table
It is convenient to place ingredients and cooking utensils, and allows everyone to dine comfortably, while also having a place to enjoy various drinks according to their individual preferences.
Inside the tent, you can also set up a small folding table to place small items or snacks and drinks.
Lighting supplies
At night in the countryside, apart from the moonlight, it's pitch black, and in some places you can't see your hand in front of your face. So it's essential to bring lighting equipment to facilitate nighttime activities at the campsite and to avoid danger caused by the darkness.
If you go camping after get off work in the evening, you'll need lighting along the way to ensure you reach the campsite safely.
Headlamp/Flashlight
Wearing a headlamp allows you to light up your surroundings with your hands free.
Headlamps can also be hung inside the tent as ceiling lights; a slightly dim setting is sufficient to illuminate the tent and create a camping atmosphere.
If you're not used to using a headlamp, bring a flashlight.
Cleaning products
Dish soap
After eating and drinking at the campsite, you can immediately clean the cooking utensils and tableware without having to take them out and wash them separately when you get home.
However, in rural areas, using regular dishwashing liquid containing phosphorus is not only harmful to humans but also has a serious impact on marine ecosystems. When phosphorus is discharged into the ocean, it depletes oxygen in the water, causes the proliferation of certain algae species, and poisons the ocean. Chlorine is also highly toxic and is released into the air when washing dishes; if it flows into the ocean, it will harm fish.
Therefore, if you need to wash dishes while camping, you should choose environmentally friendly dishwashing liquid that is biodegradable and does not contain phosphoric acid.
The shop owner is using an eco-friendly dishwashing liquid that is phosphoric acid-free, non-toxic, and biodegradable. It also contains aloe vera, which makes your hands smoother the more you wash dishes! A small amount is enough to produce long-lasting foam, effectively removing grease and stains.

toiletries
When camping in the countryside at night, even if you don't shower, the rise of paid campsites usually provides bathroom facilities. You can prepare some small bottles to hold basic toiletries such as shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, and facial cleanser to make your own travel toiletries kit. You can also stock up on mini toothpaste tubes from your hotel room during your staycation, which will come in handy when you go camping.
Below are some personal care products that I personally use and that are of excellent quality, for your reference.

The owner of this shop has a very strong tendency to shake her hair, and every time she washes her hair, she has to frantically rummage through the drain! Shaking her hair like this in a public bathroom is quite annoying, and she also has to clean the floor after each shower, otherwise it will disturb the next customer!
I've switched to a shampoo and conditioner containing argan oil from Morocco, and my hair-flipping problem has improved; I no longer need to frantically tug at my hair!

skin care products
There are no ugly people, only lazy people. With such convenient camp facilities now, there's no excuse not to take care of your skin.
Knowing full well how scorching the sun is in the countryside, not preparing sunscreen will result in a week of redness, pain, and peeling after camping.

How can you maintain smooth, fair skin while frequently camping? I'm currently using a sunscreen cream with SPF 50, containing four effective sun protection ingredients to protect my skin from UVA and UVB rays!
This sunscreen moisturizes my face at the same time, leaving it feeling instantly smooth!

I often see ladies wearing makeup while camping, completely unafraid of their makeup melting off, which I greatly admire! So I'd like to recommend some makeup brands that I trust to use.
Our shop owner now only uses mineral-based makeup, which is made from minerals extracted from stones (free of oil, wax, dyes, and talc). It also provides physical sun protection, reflecting UV rays when applied over foundation!
Highly water-resistant, doesn't easily dissolve makeup, and can be removed with water!
This mineral foundation contains light-scattering microparticles and utilizes the latest technology to create an invisible protective barrier on the skin's surface using various polymers and silicone resins. The makeup looks very natural and adheres well, leaving the skin feeling smooth to the touch!
